Ive decided to include this as the landing page for my disability related blog posts so that I can provide some context to myself and my posts.
I am physically and politically a Cripple.
I have been called as such by my government by my peers and by my community and I will not take criticisms on my use of the word, you will see a similar post in the Queer section of my site.
I am an ambulatory wheelchair user, I can walk but it fucking hurts so I don't.
I have a range of physical and mental disabilities, for clarities sake here's that list
ASD/Autism Level 2
ADHD
C-PTSD that manifests with OCD
HSD
Fibromyalgia
Pots
Cluster Headaches
The Dr is expensive since bulk billing has been kinda reduced since covid, these are the things I haven't been able to afford to pursue yet and so they're more symptom based and what I suspect rather than a diagnosis.
Really Painful periods (Endo? PCOS?)
Electric shocks in my face (Trigeminal Neuralgia? Wisdom teeth?)
Deep burning itch that wakes me up like clockwork and is fixed by me overusing antihistamines (MCAS? Allergic to my sheets?)
Really long and severe nosebleeds (no idea but using cannabis prevents it)
If you have a tip and can help identifying any of these email me!
Im an NDIS participant and so half my posts will be angry at them. IYKYK
